As this year's growing season begins, it's a great time to join a local CSA.
When you join a CSA you make a shared commitment to creating a more local and equitable agricultural system. This allows farmers to focus on good farming practice, whilst maintaining productivity and financial stability. It is a direct relationship between a farmer and the people who eat the food produced. There are usually opportunities to volunteer and get involved with the project too.
We have a number of established and emerging CSA projects across the county:
