Food Champion Training
Healthier Lifestyle Service team, Public Health (Somerset County Council) runs the Somerset Food Champion Network training, providing practical cooking sessions, to enable healthier eating choices.
Participants take part in training so they can promote the importance of low-cost, nutritionally-balanced and seasonal food for healthier eating. After their training a Food Champion shares knowledge and skills to groups, so that others can learn to cook and eat healthily, as well as become part of a growing network across the county.
