Location: Eco Food Creations, Forum Lane, Shepton Mallet
What do you do? We have received a grant from the Co-Op Members to continue our outdoor raised beds course. Suitable for all ages and people from all backgrounds. We provide a fun, safe space for families and individuals to learn how to grow food sources using our outdoor raised beds. Participants will learn valuable skills and learn growing methods that don’t cost the earth and don’t impact our soils or insect populations.
Tea, coffee and squash provided. A few refreshments will also be provided. Please bring your own packed lunch and a refillable water bottle. Plenty of layers, waterproof coat / jacket and wellies are essential.
All sessions are free and to join, we kindly ask that you preregister using our EventBrite link, which shall allow us to track the number of attendees each week. This will help us to cater to everybody each week.
When do you meet? Every Saturday from 10am - 2pm (March to August - minus booked holidays / unexpected illness / emergencies)
Who can join? All ages
Is there wheelchair access? Not currently, owing to such wet weather. From May/June and onwards, the ground will be dry enough for wheelchair access.
