Increasing numbers of people in Somerset are struggling with food insecurity, impacting on their health and well-being. A food resilience initiative to address this issue was commissioned by Somerset Council and led by Spark Somerset, which involved over 30 voluntary, statutory, and industry-based organisations. Three groups formed around the themes of pathways to food resilience, cooking skills and equipment, and supply and distribution.
