Location: Langport Town Gardens, TA10 9PW
What do you do? An open space in the centre of town where the community gets together to grow flowers, veg, fruits and herbs. Plans for the near future include an opening party, visits from the local primary school children, workshops and an art exhibition.
When do you meet? Currently every 2-3 weeks, on Wednesdays or at the weekend, soon to become a more regular weekly slot.
Who can join? Everyone! No gardening experience required, our wonderful volunteers will be there to guide and advise.
Is there wheelchair access? Yes, the access to the garden and the garden itself are step-free and we've built 5 raised beds along a wide concrete path specifically for wheelchair users (raised beds are 60cm high).
