Location: Little Sammons Allotments, Chilthorne Domer
What do they do? Skool Beanz is a gardening club for children aged 4 - 13, run from our very own children's no-dig allotment in Chilthorne Domer. We teach children how to grow delicious vegetables, beautiful flowers and how to garden to help nature with plenty of upcycled art and fun! With a quiet wildlife garden and pond, secret den, muddy buddy compost heap, rain water collecting station, polytunnel, veg, fruit and flower beds, scarecrows and craft areas this is a magical children's allotment brimming with life.
Volunteers: We are always grateful for any help from volunteers throughout the week. We also run an adult volunteer morning 'No-Dig and Natter' every Thursday 10am-1pm. Everyone welcome.
When do they meet? Every Saturday 10am-12noon, rain or shine. We run extra holiday and after school clubs too.
Who can join? Any child welcome.
