Community Action Groups Somerset, in collaboration with the Food Resilience Project, are holding a roundtable event for Community Groups at The Redbrick Building, Glastonbury, BA6 9FT. Wednesday 6th August 10am-1pm.
This event is open to community groups— including both CAG members and non-members — and aims to bring together community groups to share ideas, experiences, and practical solutions to help food projects sustain, grow and thrive.
Key topics include:
- Building long-term sustainability for community food initiatives
- Making the most of surplus food from supermarkets and other sources
- Supporting the financial sustainability of projects with funding consultant and chair of 'Love Glastonbury' Miranda Millan
- Helping fridges, kitchens, and pantries to expand their impact and build stronger local networks
Whether you're already running a project, just starting out, or looking to get involved, this roundtable is a space to connect, collaborate, and find support.
