Location: Shared Earth Learning is situated near Vallis Veg, an eighteen acre organic farm near to Vallis Vale, about 200m from the western edge of Frome. What 3 words: unpacked.dialects.expose.  We normally meet by the roundabout at Wallington way - BA11 3EJ, and walk together to site.

What you do? We are Forest School practitioners based in Frome, Somerset. We're here to grow people's well-being outdoors, and to ensure that local people have the opportunity to develop a close relationship with the natural world.

When you meet? - We run different sessions Monday - Friday. Adult well-being group, SELGrow (alternative provision in small groups, referrals from schools and council), free playranger session afternoon for all local children, Project Grow for 15-18 year olds not in education, employment or training. See our website where we will soon update session days and times for September. - We also run holiday sessions for local children, and separate sessions for disabled children/ youths, including those with additional support needs.

Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month - volunteering day. You can meet new people, do some gardening and other hands on stuff. We normally have a fire and sit down together too. We welcome all newbies! No need to book.

Who can join / volunteer? - Any adult (18 and above) can join our Adult well-being sessions. (We are open to anyone who wants some gentle nature connection in a safe, relaxed space. Many who come to these sessions are experiencing social isolation, loneliness, lack of confidence, mental health issues, have learning disabilities and complex disabilities.) - Any child can join our playranger sessions. - Anyone can join our volunteering Saturdays (we have people of all ages and abilities coming to these sessions). - Our SELGrow children and youth sessions are for referrals only. - Project Grow is for 15-18 year olds not in education, employment or training. Holiday sessions for 5+ years.

Is there wheelchair access? No, unless your wheelchair can handle rough terrain. Our site is located next to a field or via a country lane, amongst trees. Access is via a walk along a field, or a walk up a short hill. If you need support to get to our site, do contact us. We will do what we can to support you.
